photo sites?

why am I such a picky person when it comes to photo hosting?
I mean I know flickr has the whole community vibe going for it, but of all the photo hosting sites it really does offer the least amount of free features.
and if you cant tell by my name I am all about bargains and thriftiness, I joined flickr, and I've been on photobucket for years without hitting max. Now, with blogger I have the Picasa default page as well...so, to my favorite bloggers I ask, which photo site is best?

do you just use multiple hosts for your blog post pics?

I am anxious to share my pics but I'm also quite fearful of the dreaded bandwith exceeding red X's, and frogs and such...help!!!
